A reason for great joy for the Holy Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania was the mass wedding service among the Maasai tribe that was served, bringing several Maasai couples together who asked for the blessing of Bishop Agathonikos of Arusha in the new beginning in their life! The traditional costumes of their tribe with the bright colors brought a unique beauty to the performance of the Sacrament and the meal that followed. The Orthodox Maasai always give a different, an “African” to net every event of the Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania.
We pray that the new families that were created with the blessings of His Eminence be strongly attached to the great family of the Church of Christ!
