Everyday food in faraway Tanzania

“If but one child in any corner of the world is dying of hunger or war, then civilization has severely failed” (N. Kazantzakis)

It is no small feat to offer a plate of food to our fellow man, young or old, in faraway Tanzania. Hundreds of children are fed at the Iringa Missionary Centre, children that also go there seeking shelter and a warm embrace to shield them from their daily struggles and suffering.

Food drives and meals are constantly provided to all families of the Iringa area through the efforts of the Association in collaboration with the Holy Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania so that all basic human needs of the people are met.

Recently, meals were offered on behalf of our brothers:

-Apostolos Porfiriadis in memory of Periklis and Ioulia

-Anonymously in memory of Vasilis Pitsili

-Panagiotis, Athina and Chrysoula Brouzouya in memory of their grandparents Panagiotis and Athina and in memory of their brothers Savvas, Dimitris, Aimilios, Ioannis and Kyriakos
