Continued offerings of food and love

The beginning of Lent in Africa is not accompanied by fancy tables, extravagant meals and rich desserts. A plate of rice, some legumes and cabbage compose what our brothers in Tanzania call their Passover meal, as for most families these basic food items are considered a luxury.

As it so happens, many of our brothers in Greece prompted by their feelings of love towards our indigenous brothers, donate money towards provision of food. Their high interest gives us the chance to continue providing hundreds of our brothers in Central Tanzania with daily meals, in addition to loving care-packages to families in need. Our vision is to offer full complete meals on a daily basis.

All children around the world should have access to a warm meal.

-Recently a meal and breakfast were offered in memory of our sister Aikaterini Dotsiou, who had always supported the work of the Mission. One of her last wishes was to provide the children of Tanzania who she grew to love so much with a hearty meal.

-Offered meal by our sister Anastasia Nikolaidou in memory of Sofia, Konstantinos, Konstantinos, Athanasios and Antonios
