An exquisite Christmas event took place at our Mission Centre, devoted to our children, which had their very own way to be the protagonists of the celebration. The celebration begun with the Christmas Apolytikion, chanted by girls and boys that staff the chant choir of the Diocese of Arousa. Afterwards, the children of the Sunday school of our Mission Centre presented their dances and their improvised songs, devoted to love and unity. They did not omit to devote some lyrics to their Bishop.
By the end of the event, His Eminence Bishop Agathonikos of Arousa, distributed presents to all the children, on the occasion of the Christmas celebration. The scene-stealers were once more the young children from Tanzania, which offered to the Bishop presents they had prepared, as they feel and receive his love. Beautiful and unique moments which one can experience along with the simple souls of our brothers in Africa.
The presents were an offer of our brothers from Stuttgart, Germany, from the group of our sister Sara who are always by our side, but especially during these festive days they do not forget our children in Tanzania. The present were an offer in loving memory of our brothers Christos and Evangelia.
It is worth to be mentioned that the responsible for the celebration was the nun Alexia, who serves the Holy Diocese of Arousa by translating books and hymns.
