The second day of Christmas was celebrated at the Holy Church of All-Great Taxiarchs in the village Mloa with a high priestly liturgy, in which joined the inhabitants of the village and members of the Maasai. All the young children along with the chanters of the diocese, chanted the Christmas hymns of the Holly Liturgy, making a humble and festive mood. During the distribution of the Holy Bread, the believers encircled their Bishop and expressed their gratitude for all his acts for their parish and their village with dances and songs. His Eminence Bishop Agathonikos of Arousa was referred to the meaning of Christmas during the gospel preaching, while he also did not forget to thank the Priest of the Church Father Kosmas, who, from the very first day of his life as a Priest resurrected the parish with frequent Liturgies and Sunday Schools for young and adults. His Eminence, offered to this Levite a Virgin Mary’s and Christ Holy Image, as a blessing for him and his great family.
Afterwards, the festive mood was continued at the yard of the Holy Church, where it was offered a festive meal with dances and songs, sung by our native brothers.
This Christmas meal was an offer of the Nun Eirene from Romania, who, even if she is far from her beloved children, she never forgets them and always try to support them and express her love.
