Vassilios Barbaridis is a college student. He left his academic obligations behind for a while, and he travelled to Tanzania in order to fulfill his heart’s secret wish, which was unexpectedly born during a course at the school he attends, inspired by His Eminence Georgios, the Metropolitan of Kitros, Katerina and Platamon, who had been in Africa in the part and served in the fields of the Mission. During his stay in Tanzania, he participated in the renovation of the Kindamali Mission Center and contributed with his personal work to the preparations for the visit of the Patriarch of Alexandria at the Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania. At the same time, however, he was the major reference point for dozens of children who played with him daily at the courtyard of the Mission Center and at the nearby area.
