The holy days of Pentecost were celebrated with due solemnity in the Holy Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania with all faithful reverently participating in the Divine Liturgy and kneeling during Vespers. The previous day, Saturday of Souls, a Divine Liturgy and a memorial service were held for the rest of the souls of all our brothers in Africa and across the world. Many of our brothers and sisters in Greece and Germany have not forgotten their loved ones or their living relatives.
On the Saturday of Souls and on the Sunday of Pentecost, meals were served, and care-packages were distributed, offerings from our brothers:
-Pantelis Papagiannis in memory of Zoi and Foteini
-Ilias and Elpiniki Bega in memory of their mother Grigoria
-Theopistos and Maria Angelopoulos in favor of health for little Giannakis
-Alexandros Kalfas for the eternal rest of Theodora
-Anonymously in favor of health for Vasilis
-Anonymously for the eternal rest of Aikaterini and Maria
On these two days, footwear (shoes and slippers) and items of clothing were distributed to our little friends, and offering by Aris, Anna, and their mother from Germany for the eternal rest of their parents, grandparents and other relatives.
We would like to thank all our brothers, anonymous and eponymous, for their constant support in the work of our Association. After all, together we can achieve so many beautiful things!
