A festive Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the newly constructed Holy Church of the Assumption of the Theotokos on the day of the feast of the Assumption of the Theotokos, on the 15 th of August, in the village of Igangimale, of the Iringa area, of the Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania. The faithful people of the village and the nearby area came with great joy to the new Church for the first Divine Liturgy. They all chanted together, with humbleness, like a soul, and be seeched the Most-Holy Lady Theotokos to strengthen them in their spiritual struggle and their difficult daily life! They referred with great emotion and feelings of gratitude to the personality of his Grace Bishop Agathonikos of Arusha and Central Tanzania, who personally oversaw the reconstruction of the Church, which shall now serve the liturgical needs of the faithful of the village, who recently and with great enthusiasm came to our Holy Church.
After the Divine Liturgy, a mean was served to all those present in memory of Lazaros, an offer by his wife Anna Chadjiadamou, and in memory of Anna, offered by MatoulaPapoutsi.
