On the Sunday of Prodigal Son, His Eminence Bishop Agathonikos of Arusha and Central Tanzania, surrounded by clergymen of the Diocese, proceeded to Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of the Annunciation of Arusha.
In a joyful mood, after the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, it was held the Holy Mystery of Christening of two indigenous brothers. One of them, indeed, was an ex-protestant pastor, who, after hearing for the Orthodox Church, asked to be taught the orthodox doctrine and be Baptized.
Our newly Christened brothers got the names Agathon and Nektarios. We wish them the light of Christ that swarmed their hearts, to be always the sign-post in their new life.
