The memory of St.George was celebrated on Bright Wednesday at the Missionary Center of Kidamali, at the church of St. George. The joy of the celebration was completed by the joy of the entry of yet another new head of family into the family of clergy of the Holy Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania. It is comforting the fact that God constantly inspires and invites new people to serve His Holy Church, the Holy Altar and our indigenous brothers.
The new deacon, father Georgios, until recently was serving as reader in the parish of St. John the Theologian at Ibogo, where the interaction and the reverence of the Priest of the parish, father Yeronimus has resulted the gathering of many new people nearby him. People who want to serve the Church from different positions.
The same day, His Eminence Bishop Agathonikos of Arusha and Central Tanzania, tonsured as Reader another pious young, George, coming from village Nyamihu, who is a potential priest and an active server to all the actions of our Mission Center in Kidamali.
By the chance of the celebration of St. George, a short litany took place in the Mission Center. After the litany, festive meal was offered, by the Holy Church of St. George at Litochoro, its head, Archimandrite Ioannis Itsios and its parishers – inhabitants of Litochoro.
