The feasts of the sacred Twelve tide are an opportunity for us to remember the forgotten values of charity and love. Going through times and days in an era of individualism and revolving around our “ego”, we are interested in the lay expression of the feasts, looking for happiness in all the wrong places.
However, two bright eyes of anachy, yet at the same time joyful, child of Africa radiate more than the colorful lanterns and ornaments adorning our houses. If we close our eyes for a while and our heart tries to go deeper intothe mental world of these children, we shall remember again about the forgotten values of life.
The most precious gift of these days is offering love to people who really need us. During the sacred Twelve tide many meals took place, and continue to take place, in Central Tanzania with the help and support of members and friends of the Missionary Shelter of St. Dionysius of Olympus.
Meals were recently held for the health of:
- Despina and Evangelia Amargiotaki
- Alexandros and his family, Panagiotis and Epaminondas
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year, full of works of goodness and love!
