In a small and parched village in Tanzania, where the earth thirsts and people struggle daily for the basics, the drilling of a new borehole brings hope. The water that will flow is not just a source – it is life, hope, a ray of light in the darkness of despair.
With the blessing of His Grace Agathonikos, Bishop of Arusha and Central Tanzania, a new borehole was drilled in the village of Kiwelle, in the courtyard of the Holy Church of Saints Evlampios and Evlampia. This precious project was completed thanks to the heartfelt contribution of some of our brothers and sisters from Greece, who opened their hearts and, overflowing with love, supported our effort to provide clean, potable water to our indigenous brothers and sisters. With their invaluable help, an entire community will now have access to clean water, because what we take for granted is a treasure to them – a miracle of God in their lives! After a few days and the cleaning of the pipes installed during the digging, the pump will be placed so the villagers can draw this clean water for their needs!
Let us all remember how important it is to support such initiatives. With the smallest effort and understanding on our part, the world can change for thousands of people for the better. By giving “a little,” we receive much. By giving “a drop of water,” we receive heavenly blessings – and that is priceless!
Thank you for your support!
