In order to serve the liturgical needs of our native brothers and sisters in Tanzania, it is necessary to translate and publish liturgical texts in Swahili, such as the Menaia, Paracletiki, Horologion, Euchologion and many other services.
Thinking that the wealth of Orthodoxy should be shared, we proceeded with the translation and publication of patristic and liturgical texts, such as the Divine Liturgy, the Paraklesis, the Compline, the Akathists Hymn to the Theotokos, the book “Christ is everything” of Saint Porphyrius, a book on the Orthodox Faith by Archimandrite Epiphanios Hadjiyiangou and a small book on miracles of Saint Nektarios, while other works of the Fathers of our Church and contemporary Elders are being translated.
An important step in the field of publishing is the republishing, correction and completion of the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom in Swahili.The new edition includes apolitics and stocks of the Despotic and Mother of God feasts and various liturgical wishes to serve the liturgical needs of the faithful.
