Many people, even young children, must walk many miles having a bucket on their head, on a daily basis, in order to fetch the long-awaited water for the needs of an entire family.
It is not uncommon for this water to come from the muddy waters of a river that is drying out, due to drought, and pumping it becomes difficult as they have to press the mud to extract even one drop of water.
With the help and assistance of the members of the Association and many donors, 11 bores were created at the Iringa region, two in Arusha and the first water supply network in the wider area of Kindamali, from which 5 villages and a school are supplied with water.
