The celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was celebrated at the Holy Church of the Holy Cross in the village Makongati. It is a small and beautiful village in the foothills of a mountain which has “given” to the Holy Diocese of Arusha and Central Tanzania three priests.
The inhabitants came at the church early and decorated the tray with the Holy Cross with basil and flowers, as a glimpse of their love and piety. Young and old joined the Divine Liturgy and the litany and sang hymns of the celebration of the Holy Cross.
After the Divine Liturgy, meal was offered by the Missionary Team of Stuttgart, in loving memory of relatives and friends of the members of the team.
