The project in Ibongo continues: Renovation of a school classroom for the children

With the exclusive financial support of the Holy Metropolis of Arusha and the personal care of His Eminence Metropolitan Agathonikos, the construction of the teachers’ room at the school of the village of Ibongo has been completed—an initiative that provides active support to the educational community and improves teachers’ working conditions. However, the needs of the school remain great. One of the classrooms lacks basic infrastructure, as it has no doors or windows, resulting in children attending lessons under extremely poor conditions. At the same time, the school has no access to drinking water. Students are forced to carry it daily from afar using buckets.

During the inauguration of the new class, the school principal and the village chairman highlighted these serious deficiencies to His Eminence and asked the Orthodox Church to support the renovation of the classroom that remains without doors and windows.

In the video that follows, His Eminence makes a heartfelt appeal for support for these necessary projects, which will improve both the educational conditions and the daily lives of children of Ibongo.
