By the grace of God and the generous offering of friends of the mission, two more Meals of Love were held in central Tanzania, bringing joy and relief to many of our brothers and sisters.
On the Second Sunday of Great Lent, when our Church commemorates Saint Gregory Palamas, meals of love were organized in parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Arusha following the Divine Liturgy. The initiative was carried out through the care of our association “Missionary Shelter”, which consistently supports the soup kitchens and the broader charitable work of the Metropolis and His Eminence Metropolitan Agathonikos.
The meals were offered at:
-
Parish of the Dormition of the Theotokos – Ingagkimale Village
- Donation: Missionary Team of Stuttgart, Germany
- Coordinator: Sara Amanatidou
- Parish of the Holy Apostle Philip – Kimbembe Village
- Donation: Heraklis Dimosthenous
- For the repose of: Nikolaos, Fani, Styliani
The faithful and the local residents expressed their deep gratitude for the love and support they receive.
The Missionary Shelter warmly thanks all donors and everyone who supports the missionary work. At the same time, it makes a heartfelt appeal to all friends of the mission to continue supporting the Meals of Love, so that daily meals can be provided to our brothers and sisters who are in need.
