“For I was hungry and you gave Me food to eat” (Matthew 25:35)

With the Blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Agathonikos of Arusha and the Generosity of the Members and Donors of the Missionary Shelter of Saint Dionysios of Olympus, three more meals of love were offered in the heart of Central Tanzania, in the Iringa region.

These meals were offered:

  • At the Church of Saints Evlambios and Evlambia in Kiuelle, by an anonymous donor, for the repose of Panagiotis and Thomas.
  • At the Church of Saint Paraskevi of Epivatini, in Idonti, by an anonymous donor, for the repose of Nikolaos, Fani, Styliani, and Ioannis.
  • At the Church of Saint Christodoulos, in Misissina, by Maria Nika, in memory of Dimitrios and Kalliopi Nika.

May God rest the souls of the departed and bless the donors and their families for their love, which bears fruit in works of hope and life.

A Call for Continued Support

Brothers and sisters in Christ, hunger is not simply the absence of food. It is the cry of a mother who has nothing to feed her child, it is the gaze of a child who has never known what it feels like to have a full stomach. For our brothers and sisters in Tanzania, every plate of food is a message that they are not alone.

We invite you to continue supporting the meals of love offered by the Holy Metropolis of Arusha and its esteemed Shepherd, His Eminence Metropolitan Agathonikos.
With every contribution, you offer hope. With your love, you offer life.

The words of our Lord, “ For I was hungry and you gave Me food to eat,” are fulfilled through each of your offerings.

The smallest contribution from each of us, when joined with faith and prayer, becomes a blessing and salvation.
