During the Holy Dodekahemeron, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Arusha Agathonikos, celebrates Divine Liturgies in villages of the Iringa region. Upon the completion of each Divine Liturgy, the customary Agape Meals are offered.
These meals are a loving offering of the members of our Association, the Missionary Shelter of Saint Dionysios of Mount Olympus, and constitute active support for the charitable feeding programs of the Holy Metropolis of Arusha in Central Tanzania. Through this initiative, the faithful and residents of the villages are provided with warm nourishment without distinction, bearing living witness to the love and solidarity that flow from our Orthodox faith.
Agape meals were offered:
- At the Parish of theLife-Giving Spring in Nyamahana, through the generosity of Mr. Heracles Demosthenous, for the repose of the souls of Nikolaos, Fani, and Styliani.
- At the Parish of Saint Paraskevi in Magkalali, by an anonymous benefactor, for the repose of the soul of Athanasios.
Our Association continues this blessed ministry with dedication, bringing hope, joy, and consolation to those in need. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all who support this missionary endeavor and invite everyone to participate according to their ability.
